JENNA SMITH
JSD was founded in December 2024 with a vision of creating homes that are as functional as they are beautiful. With a background in interior design, a passion for residential architecture, Jenna offers clients a unique perspective that bridges both architecture and interiors. Her ability to see the entire home—from the initial floor plan to the final styling details—allows her to create spaces that feel intentional, cohesive, and deeply personal.
In just a short time, the studio has grown from a one-woman business into a collaborative design team, expanding to include talented designers who share Jenna's commitment to thoughtful design and exceptional client service. As the studio continues to grow, Jenna remains intentionally selective about the projects she takes on, allowing her team to provide each client with the attention, creativity, and detail their home deserves.
Jenna believes the best homes are designed around the people who live in them. Every project begins by understanding her clients' lifestyles, routines, and vision before translating those ideas into a home that functions effortlessly and feels timeless. Through detailed 3D visualizations, curated material selections, and comprehensive construction documentation, clients are able to confidently visualize their home long before construction begins, making the design process collaborative, exciting, and stress-free.
Based in Grand Junction, Colorado, Jenna specializes in custom homes, renovations, and full-service interior design throughout Western Colorado. Whether designing a mountain retreat, a modern family home, or a forever home built to last generations, her goal is always the same: to create spaces that are warm, elevated, and thoughtfully designed for everyday living.
Where the passion started...
Growing up, Jenna spent a lot of time tagging along with her mom as she cleaned houses. These early experiences shaped her passion for design, showing her that every home was unique, reflecting the personalities and lifestyles of the people who lived there. Some homes were minimalist and modern, others filled with eclectic collections and vibrant colors. The contrast between each home fascinated her, and it sparked a love for interior design that she carries with her to this day. It taught her that design is not just about aesthetics, but about creating environments that feel personal and lived-in.
